Wind farm Fryslân will be the largest wind farm in an inland waterway in the world.

Clients

Bouwconsortium Zuiderzeewind is building the wind farm. Our client Van Oord is part of this consortium and was responsible for the built of a special platform to carry out the work in shallow water. Our other client Ventolines is part of this project as a renewable energy service provider.

Information Wind farm

The Fryslân wind farm will eventually generate enough energy for around 500,000 households. The wind farm is expected to be operational in 2021.
