The Bacton tot Walcott Sandscaping project is a UK-first multi-partner project.
Our client Van Oord and Royal Haskoning DHV are responsible for the sandscaping. This is in order of the client North Norfolk District Council (NNDC).
A total of 1.8 million cubic metres of sand has been deposited over a total length of 6 kilometres. This is in order to protect the stretch of the coastline from erosion. Much of the placed sand serves tot protect the huge, strategically important gas terminal.
