The Golfinho project will be Mozambique’s first onshore LNG development project.
Our client Van Oord is part of the consortium with TechnipFMC for this project. They are responsible for the engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) of the subsea systems. Van Oord will carry out the shallow offshore installation scope and TechnipFMC is responsible for the deepwater scope. Anadarko Moçambique Área 1, LDA owns the project.
The project consists of two LNG trains with a total capacity of 12,88 Mtpa. This will support the development of the Golfinho/Atum fields located within Offshore Area 1.
